Q: Where is Ethel’s Club located?

A: The first (of soon-to-be many!) clubhouses is located at 315 Meserole Street in the neighborhood of East Williamsburg in Brooklyn, New York. The building is adjacent to Netflix’s recently-announced production studio complex and is a short walk from the L train’s Morgan and Montrose stops.

Q: What are your hours of operation for the East Williamsburg clubhouse?

A: Monday-Friday: 9 AM - 9 PM, Saturday-Sunday: 11 AM - 7 PM

Q: How do I become a member?

A: We’re so glad you asked. You can apply for membership, here.

Q: Once I apply, when will I be notified I've been accepted?

A: It's important that we maintain the quality of the experience in our clubhouse for current members, so we accept new members on a rolling basis. We don't have specific dates for acceptance, but we will notify you as soon as you're in!

Q: Can I apply to the Ethel’s Club Brooklyn location if I don’t live in New York?

A: Sure! We’re honored to receive applications from all over the world. However, we currently only have one clubhouse located in Brooklyn, New York.


Q: What is the difference between a House and Culture membership?

A: Our House membership allows access to the space during all operating hours, all programming and events, and the ability to reserve space in our podcast and wellness studios. Pretty much, you’re all in.

The Culture membership allows you access to five programming events per month. Perfect for those balancing their work life with their social (club) life.

Q: How do I reserve the podcast studio?

A: You can reserve private time in the podcast studio through our membership portal.

Q: How do I reserve sessions with the wellness and therapy studio?

A: You can reserve private time in the wellness studio and sign up for sessions with our practitioners through our membership portal.

Q: How do I use guest passes?

A: House members may bring up to 2 guests per visit (your community is our community).

Guests must be checked in at the reception area and are only permitted in Ethel’s Club when their designated member is present in the space.

Q: How do I access programming?

A: We’re so excited to show you. Our ever-changing programming calendar will be accessible through our membership portal beginning October 2019.

Q: How do I access your digitally curated content?

A: Our exclusive digital content (coming in 2020) will be accessible through our membership portal.


Q: Can I freeze my membership or switch between the House and Culture memberships?

A: You can switch or freeze your membership once every 12 months. To do so, please contact membership@ethelsclub.com.

Q: How can I cancel a membership?

A: We’d hate to see you go, but if you need to cancel your account and end your membership, all you need to do is email membership@ethelsclub.com thirty days before you would like to cancel to avoid being billed an additional month.

Q: Are memberships transferable or refundable?

A: Memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Q: Can I purchase a gift membership?

A: In an effort to maintain the intentionality that goes into creating our community, all prospective members of Ethel’s Club must apply on their own accord.

Q: Can I purchase a day pass if I’m not a member?

A: At the moment, no. However, our goal is to make Ethel’s Club as accessible as possible. We’re hoping to make day passes available in 2020.

Q: Can I take a tour of the space?

A: Absolutely, we offer tours of the space on Fridays starting in November. We’d love to show you around. To set up a tour, please email membership@ethelsclub.com.

Q: Is the boutique open to the public?

A: Yes, anyone and everyone can support our curated selection of poc-owned products. Our boutique is located in the front of our space and open during our business hours.
